Bio

GO REDBIRDS AND GO PANTHERS

 

 

- I was born in Chicago,Illinois on the southside (GO SOX!) moved to Coal City in grade school.

-Graduate Coal City High School in 1998

-In high school I played basketball, softball and ran cross-country. I also was in student council, varsity club, the play/musicals, band and choir

-I decided in 8th grade to become a teacher... I went to Illinois State Unversity and majored in History secondary education. I graduate in 2002.

-I have been a GSW Panther since I started teaching 15 years ago. 

- I have taught Careers, Drama, Study Skills, U.S. History, World History, Sociology, Goverment, Economics and Geography. 

- Since I have worked here, I have coached volleyball, basketball and directed the school plays. I have been the student council sponsor for 12 years. 

- In 2010 I got my masters in Speical Education....this is also the year I married my amazing husband.

-I have two wonderful daughters (Anna is 4 and Miabella is 2 )

-My retirment dream is to own a trolly and give historical tours somewhere warm.
