Graduation Information 2019-20

Hello GSW Community

This is a reminder about the details for graduation this Sunday, June 14, 2020.  The graduation will be on Facebook live starting with the opening remarks at 10 a.m. A videographer will also put together a graduation video that will be available free of charge to you in the future.  The graduation will start at 10:00 am.  The schedule of events is posted below.

As per the logistics of the day, students should arrive a few minutes before his/her scheduled time.  Please enter the school parking lot from route 53 or near the baseball field.  The west parking lot will be blocked off so that this area can be used for taking pictures after the ceremony.  Students and their families will be admitted to the gym from the rear entrance.  Please do not enter the gym until a staff member opens the door for you. Each graduate may have an additional 9 members to come into the gym at their allotted time. The graduate will be told where to stand near the weight room and parents will be shown where to stand to take pictures.  When the graduate is called, he/she will come to the stage to pick up his/her diploma and then stand on the middle of the stage so that the family can take pictures.  The graduate will then exit into the hallway near the concession stand to take a formal picture that may be purchased from Shayla Loring Photography.  After the picture is taken, the graduate and family will exit the doors under the “V”.

To be mindful and respectful of all graduates and their families, we ask that any crowds who gather outside do so behind (north) the Mulburg Garden. This allows the graduates and their families time for photos safely in front of the school.
