Marist College - Several full tuition, room and board technology scholarships available for any seniors seeking a career in technology at Marist College in New York.  Go to http://www.marist.edu/technologyscholarships for more information or contact the guidance counselor's office.

National Co-op Scholarship Program - Receive $6000 (renewable) to attend a WACE Partner University.  There are 10 universities to choose from! They use a work-integrated education program.  Must have a 3.5 or higher GPA.  For more information and a list of the WACE Partner Institutions, visit http://www.waceinc.org or see guidance.

Student Scholarships - Several scholarship opportunities $500-$100,000 are available at http://studentscholarships.org. Scholarships are updated throughout the year on this website. For more information contact guidance office.

Give Something Back Foundation - This scholarship program process begins with FRESHMEN. To qualify, the student must have a 3.0 GPA and qualify for the full Pell Grant. For more information, go to https://www.giveback.ngo/

Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation Scholarships - MULTIPLE scholarships worth varying amounts. Must be a 2019 high school graduate, preference given to military families. Illinois Odd Fellow-Rebekah Scholarship - Multiple scholarships worth varying amounts. Student must  attend post-secondary school or accredited vocational or technical training school and who have maintained at least a 'C' grade average. Lions Club Scholarship - $500 scholarship awarded to TWO G.S.W. graduating seniors continuing their education at a 2 year, 4 year college, trade or vocational studies program.  For application and more information, see guidance. Deadline is March 22, 2019. 

Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Bloomington - SEVERAL scholarships are available on their website: http://www.valleyofbloomington.org. Go to this website and click on the scholarships tab along the top. Some of their available scholarships require you to have a Masonic Relative and others are open to the public. For more information, go to their website or see guidance. Deadline is March 1, 2019.

Contractors Association of Will & Grundy Counties - Scholarship opportunity available to graduating senior who will be attending college full-time in the fall of 2019 pursuing a construction related undergraduate degree.  Must be the son/daughter of an owner and/or full time employee of a CAWGC member company and have a C or better average. For more information and application, go to http://www.cawgc.org Deadline is March 15, 2019.

Kathryn G. Hansen Scholarship - $500 scholarship opportunity available to graduating senior continuing their education at a college within the state of Illinois. Must have a strong commitment to pursue a higher education in an office professional, secretarial, or business-related field. Winner MUST attend a presentation at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus to receive certificate. Grundy County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship - $500 to $1000 (amount to be determined) scholarship available to graduating senior continuing their education at a post-secondary school. Must be a member or dependent of a member of the Grundy County Farm Bureau or be actively involved in the Collegiate Farm Bureau program. Illinois Sheriffs' Association Scholarship - $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who will be enrolled as a full-time student at a college within the state of Illinois for the 2019-20 school year. Application is available in the guidance office, Grundy County Sheriff's office or online at http://www.ilsheriff.org.  Completed applications must be mailed to the GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF"S DEPARTMENT. Deadline is March 15, 2019. 

Local Masonic Lodge - $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a GSW senior planning to attend a 4-year college, 2-year junior college, or an accredited trade school or vocational training program. Applicants MUST attend interview night and give a short presentation at the Masonic Lodge in Mazon on Tuesday, March 12th at 8pm. For more information, see guidance. Deadline is March 5, 2019.

Joliet Junior College - scholarship applications are open for applicants to apply for Fall 2019 scholarships from January 21 - May 1, 2019.  Please visit http://www.jjc.edu/scholarships to apply. JJC provides a $3,200 Outstanding High School Student Scholarship to ALL of the feeder high schools in the district.  The deadline to apply for this scholarship is April 1, 2019.

Exelon Scholarship - $1000 scholarship awarded to a deserving GSW senior who plans on entering a career of science or technology. Please see guidance for more information. Application/essay deadline is March 22, 2019.

Sharon Levy Band Booster Scholarship - $500 scholarship available to senior who has been a member of the GSW Band, Chorus or Pantherette Spiritline for four years and has been accepted by and enrolled in a junior college, college or university for the fall semester of 2019. For more information and the application, see guidance. Deadline is March 22, 2019.

Gardner-South Wilmington High School Alumni Scholarship (sponsored by the class of 1957) - $500 scholarship awarded to GSW senior planning to further their education at an accredited college or technical/trade school and work toward a degree/diploma in the student's choice of study. Application available in guidance office. Deadline March 22, 2019.

Lions Club 1-BK Scholarship - $750 scholarship available to graduating senior planning to further their education completing a degree that leads to working in the field of special education, including, but not limited to education of children with vision and/or hearing impairment. Priority for scholarships will be given to applicant who themselves have received special education services during high school with further preference for applicants who have a primary impairment of vision or audiology will also be considered. Fred Drendel Memorial Scholarship - $1000 scholarship awarded to a graduating senior of Dwight High School, Gardner-South Wilmington High School, Herscher High School, Pontiac High School or Tri-Point High School planning to attend an accredited college or trade school. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in agriculture OR be from an agriculture family and have a GPA of 3.0 or better. There will be THREE winners. Grundy County Marine Corps League Scholarship - $1000 scholarship awarded to graduating senior of a grundy county high school planning to attend a post-secondary career training program, college or university.  Must have 2.0 GPA. For application and more information, see guidance. Deadline is April 1, 2019.

Vista Learning Scholarship and Laptop - $1000 scholarship AND laptop will be awarded to graduating senior from Grundy-Kendall County. Student MUST qualify for free or reduced lunch. For more information, see guidance. Deadline March 20, 2019.
